Digital Marketing Manager

IOVIA is looking for a Digital Marketing Manager for an ongoing contract position.

We’re open to candidates in both Canada and the United States. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to work from home or a co-working space, and for someone who is looking for a long-term client that works with some of the biggest, coolest brands in the world. As part of this role, you’ll be developing our digital marketing strategy and plan in partnership with our leadership team and strategists. Then you’ll be managing execution to ensure things get done on time and on spec. 

We anticipate the strategy will incorporate an expanding website, a social media plan, and content marketing. We’ll also be running ongoing digital campaigns so you should have experience building campaigns to drive brand awareness and lead generation (this part is important), and with search engine optimization (SEO).

We have writers and designers on our team so you’ll be working with them on a regular basis to execute your vision. We’ll also be looking for you to make a strategic contribution to our team, including initiatives that go beyond the confines of marketing. Responsibilities:

  • Development of our digital marketing strategy and plan in partnership with IOVIA leadership.
  • Management and execution of digital marketing plan.
  • Management and execution of social media plan.
  • Using data-driven strategies and analysis to build effective digital campaigns to drive brand awareness and lead generation.
  • Manage ongoing changes and updates to IOVIA website.
  • Collaborate with IOVIA team members on execution of content marketing program.
  • Provide briefings and leadership for creative team on an ad-hoc basis.
  • Consult and work with sales, strategy and delivery team members on a variety of strategic initiatives.
  • SEO research and strategy development, including keyword research, and optimization.
  • Connections with major b2c brands considered an asset.
  • Experience in the technology sector and technology product marketing an asset.
  • Sporadic travel (to Western Canada, Europe) could be required. But we can figure that out.

Requirements

Clearly you’ll need some relevant experience that directly connects to the responsibilities we’ve listed but we’re not prescribing a specific background. Our preferred candidate might have 5 years of experience in digital marketing or 10. They may come from a data analytics, creative or agency background. The biggest thing is being able to commit to getting the job done, to being able to get the job done and working around your other obligations to keep our business on track!
